LOVE-  is the complete word that describe what all kind of beings need to have to survive. Everyone wants to give love, and be loved. Without love, nothing would really exist cause everything in the end comes to something you really like. Either it is your work, the money you earn from work, the money you use to buy things you love or whatever you create, Love is the main driving force.

I love many things but since I can remember I have always felt much love about animals. I know and have experienced people who have learn to like them. You just have to see them as feeling beings, and it is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to teach those who have not experienced them as creatures who really have feelings like we do.

To many people they are unrespected and just because they don't speak our language doesn't give anyone right to harm them! Imagine a world without them, and there would be no world cause they make all our eco-system work.

I know I will fight for a better world, so let's keep up the good work against animal abuse and show (at least) a little bit of...... love!

According Sea Sheperd there are as many as 1000 long-finned pilot whales (Globicephala melas) brutally killed in the Faroe Islands each year.

The pilot whales are living in big groups and have extemly strong sozial bonds between their family members. The family and the pod is very important for this sozial whale species. But this lovely behaviour is also a big threat for the pilot whales...

In the Faroe islands (belongs to Denmark), they brutally use this strong relationship between the whales. In small bays some of the pilot whales are injured and with the knowledge that the rest of the whales do not want to leave their dying family members the whalers slowly can kill the rest of the pod one by one... Soon, the bay will turn red from all the whale blod...

More crocodiles released into the Okavango

Special Correspondent

SHAKAWE – Here's a Christmas story with a difference - about 100 farm-reared young crocodiles this week suddenly found themselves free to swim wherever they want, and dive as deep as they can in the clear water among water lilies and papyrus stalks, with live, colourful fish whisking past their astonished faces.

While this could in one way be a perfect Christmas story of a confined existence changing in an instant into one of freedom in paradise, the team that released the crocs could not help but pity them a little bit as a battle awaits them to fend for themselves away from the heated ponds and fast food existence they have been used to during their almost two years of their lives!

Sharks may strike terror among swimmers at the beach in Hollywood movies, but the predators are increasingly ending up as prey, served up in fish-and-chips shops, sparking concern among environmentalists.

The great white shark, for example, is a protected species -- though that hasn't prevented its stocks from declining -- but tens of millions of other sharks are caught each year by fishermen.

Why are they in such demand? Their fins are the main ingredient in shark fin soup, a prestigious dish in traditional Chinese cuisine, and even in Europe shark meat is often served to consumers, usually without their knowledge.

Why would you choose to wear someone else on your body?

I don't think you can write too much about fur and tell people about how awful this industry is!

It's so easy to go to a store and see this beautiful clothes and not think about where they acctually comes from, they are made IN the store right!?

Well I can tell you they are not.

It's from an animal who has suffer in one way or another weather they are caught in the nature by trapping, or raised on a farm. A farm sounds like an idyllic place where everyone is free, walking around and enyoing life. But a fur farm is a really ugly place.

Panda Base, China

A bit more than a year ago, I went to China to do voluntary work with the giant pandas at a panda conservation center. I first landed in Chengdu which is a large city of thirteen million people. I spent my first night at a hostel there and got to know some of the other volunteers that arrived at the same time as me and I even got to meet volunteers who where on their way home. I got to see a bit of Chengdu before we took off for the panda base. I got to see classical Chinese tea gardens and some more about the city. It was absolutely amazing.

We then took off for Bifengxia which is where the panda conservation center is located. Bifengxia is a four hour drive from Chengdu and up into the mountains. The first thing I noticed when we arrived with the pandas was the huge climate change from Chengdu to Bifengxia. Chengdu was hot and dry and Bifengxia was quite a bit colder and very humid. Apperantly it's the perfect climate and temperature for the giant panda.

The first day at the panda base I didn't actually get to do any work with the pandas. The panda conservation center is a very professional organization and everything needs to be done right. First, we had to watch an hour long movie about the base and about pandas in general. We got our special passes so that we could enter the base and we got our working clothes. Gray overalls with gloves. The keepers also showed us what they feed the pandas and of course we got a tour of the whole place.

The work we did at the panda base was mostly feeding them and cleaning their cages and outside areas. The days pretty much looked the same. In the morning is where there's a lot to do. We would go to the keepers station where we get changed into our overalls and start preparing the pandas breakfast which includes special panda bread, carrots, apples and bamboo shoots. They really like the bamboo shoots. First we would clean their cages from waste and left over bamboo. After that we would start cleaning the outside area from the same things but way more leftover and old bamboo. We then replace the old bamboo with the new bamboo. Sometimes we had to weigh the pandas on huge scales to make sure they were healthy.
