We know very little about these tribes. It’s even difficult to convince governments that they exist. But the pressure on these forest here are growing and legal and illegal logging is closing in.

These tribes are healthy with growing gardens with bananas and papayas for food and they create red body paint from seeds. Researchers have very carefully and from a far distance been monitoring these tribes for over 20 years.
There is great threat that these tribes lives will change for the worse soon if not things are done urgently. Illegal logging across the border in Peru is forcing uncontacted tribes there to flee and there is not much room left. Peru’s government is saying that these tribes does not exist at all.

If loggers would contact these tribes they won’t shoot images… the will shoot guns!
But it’s not just violence that can threaten these tribes; viruses like a simple cold could wipe them out completely.
They should be free to choose whether to make contact or not. It’s not our decision to make.
Help us keep out invaders and protect this land for these tribes!

Please take 4mins and watch this video below:
This is the first time ever that this tribe is filmed (footage from 2010, BBC film crew). The footage was made to prove these tribes exists so that the government can start acting to ensure these tribes are left alone and protected.

Find all this very interesting?
If you find it interesting with these tribes I would recommend you to watch the documentary "First contact with tribe Toulambi". Its amazing footage of the first contact with a tribe in Papua New Guinea. It also is quite hurtful to see these tribes beeing confronted with simple things like plastic and how their lives probably changed for the worse forever after this contact. But the feelings and faces seen here is truly amazing.
