Say NO to fur and ban all fur farming!
A fur farm is a place where certain types of animals are being bred and raised for their fur.
Then WHY is it that bad wearing fur?

An animal who lives on a fur farm exist under horrible conditions, often in small cages their whole life. Hardly able to move or take many steps makes them go insane by the lack of stimulation and bite their own skin or each other, and cannibalism is not unusual. The fur gets thicker in the winter so they often keep them outside in the cold.
Animals as mink, raccoon, raccoon-dog, fox, rabbits, chinchillas are very common and in Asia dogs and cats too. Never will they get the opportunity to take a swim as they would in the wild and a lot of them die of different diseases, stress, heat and cannibalism.
When the fashion industry and trends are changing, the life for the animals changes too!
(The white mink was created on farms and they often looses their hearing because of a genetic defect.)
Only in Europe 6000 farms exist and more than 60% of all mink production and 70% of fox production comes from Europe, and in Denmark alone 40% of the world production!
Countries that ban fur breeding:
Austria, Croatia, The United Kingdom, Northern Ireland and Slovenia. In Switzerland the rules of breeding are very strict which are the result of no farms anymore.
China is the largest export and they have no strict rules of breeding or handling the animals. It is not unusual that clothes are being labeled as fox when it actually comes from domestic animals as dogs and cats.
The only thing a farmer cares about is skin quality so they mostly kill them by anal electrocution, neck breaking, poison or being gassed. This paralyze them very painfully so they can get into coma, waking up being skinned alive!
To catch wild animals some countries still allow traps.
We must remember these animals only exist on the farms because of human vanity! They get to suffer their whole lives only because of fashion!
