Turkish Animal Rescue Organisation is an all volunteer (nonprofit) rescue organization based in UK.

We are dedicated to the welfare, sheltering and placement of homeless animals in Turkey. We are committed to educating the public about the humane treatment of animals, preventing animal cruelty and overpopulation and promoting animal welfare in Turkey.


Turkey has a huge population of stray dogs.. many are removed from populated areas by the municipality authorities to forests where they struggle to survive.. no food, no water, in the summer extreme heat and in the winter freezing conditions.


Puppies are born in the forests .. very few live to adulthood .

Fortunately there are a few dedicated turkish animal lovers who care deeply for these unwanted souls, they regularly go out and find these dogs/ puppies and feed them, often collecting those who have become ill through neglect and seeking veterinary treatment.

Without their help many more would simply die in the forests, never knowing what a full belly feels like, and certainly never knowing human compassion .

We are here to help and support these people in their quest to ease the suffering of Turkeys strays.

It is our aim to alleviate the suffering of stray animals in Turkey .


We provide food, shelter, and veterinary care to dogs and puppies who have no-one.

We also spay / neuter as many adult dogs as we possibly can depending on funds available.
